Our History

Established in 2024, Steppin Collective has instructors ready to get you Steppin. Come out and meet a team of local instructors dedicated to providing quality dance lessons. Our experienced instructors have trained hundreds of dancers of all ages and levels. This dance style is "Chicago Style" Steppin. Culturally derived from Lindy Hop, Swing Style dancing. This dance is multi-cultured, taught in nearly ALL 50 states in the United States and many places internationally. ALL are welcome

Our Philosophy

At Steppin Collective, we believe that dance is for everyone. We strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where students can learn and grow in a supportive community, release stress, breath and enjoy learning to dance. Good news, the first class is no cost.

Our Programs

We offer classes for beginners and intermediate levels. As well as social dance sets/events. Our programs are designed to promote technical skills, expert training and includes a collective of people looking for cultural, classy social dance on the Northwest side of Houston. The location has 2 EXTRA large spaces for dancing; clean environment great food and drinks. Ample parking. Send us a message, ask a question and we will see YOU soon!

Steppin Collective

Hours

Classes are held weekly on Saturday 11am-2pm
Beginners (women) & (men) separate (11am - Noon)

Lead/Follow instruction practice the basics (12pm - 1pm)

Intermediate (1pm - 2pm)

Open DANCE "Day Set" (2pm-5pm) weekly

1st Saturday Bootcamps with "Special Instructors" (11pm-2pm) $30

1st Saturday Day set with DJ $10 (no charge if you were at bootcamp)

$5 Day Set

$75 Monthly Pass (all included except 1st Saturday bootcamp)

$100 Monthly Pass (unlimited scheduled classes/Day Set & 1s
